WHAT IS AN ESCAPE ROOM?
An escape room is an interactive live adventure game in which players discover hidden clues and unravel puzzles in order to solve a mystery and escape the room within the allotted time (or less!).
Each game has a theme and a background story to keep you engaged and entertained throughout the experience. By solving each puzzle, you will progress further until you unlock and solve all of the mysteries and clues and escape the room, or until the time runs out. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
At our escape room, anyone can participate! It's great for families, a group of friends, or even as a corporate team-building and bonding experience. All of our escape rooms are wheelchair-accessible, although portions of the games may not be.
Please note: children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If you would like to bring children under 8, you are welcome to, but they may not have the ability to focus or stay on task for the whole hour. Some kids can, but that's the exception, not the norm. You know your kids better than anyone else, so please use good judgment when booking at our escape room.
Anyone entering an escape room game on their own two feet must have a paid ticket, regardless of age. The only exception to this
are our very youngest escape artists being held/in a stroller for the entire experience.
AM I REALLY LOCKED IN?
Nope. The door will close behind you, but you can walk out of the escape room at any time: there is always an unlocked door.
IS IT SCARY?
The Cabin and Kate's Motel escape games are a little creepy and may have some surprising/startling elements, so viewer discretion is definitely advised! All of our other escape room games are not scary at all and meant to be family-friendly! They are well-lit, and no matter what escape game you play, there are no zombies or monsters trying to scare you in any of our escape rooms.
WILL I FREAK OUT IF I HAVE CLAUSTROPHOBIA?
Not at all! In fact, we have committed to providing escape games with larger per-person square footage than escape room industry norms. Sure, we could cram more people in our escape rooms than our posted maximum, but we intentionally keep the escape room capacity much lower to provide a better game experience for everyone and ensure more participation from all guests.
WHAT MAKES ESCAPE:chandler DIFFERENT?
We have intentionally designed our escape room business around friends, families, and corporate teams, and have made specific business decisions to offer the best experience possible! We offer uniquely themed escape rooms not offered elsewhere in Arizona! No prison escapes, bank vault heists, zombies, etc. here! All original, fun rooms and puzzles with a guarantee that we will always offer an escape room that is thematically appropriate for kids.
ARE THERE ANY ACTIVE DISCOUNT CODES/GROUPONS?
We do not advertise on Groupon, and we rarely offer sales. Our tiered pricing rates are in line with most Groupon escape room rates, and we are the most affordable escape room option in Chandler and Gilbert!
DO YOU SELL GIFT CERTIFICATES?
Yes, we do! You can buy them online and create your own gift certificate to print or email. If you'd like a certificate of an amount not listed, please message us here with your request, and we'll be happy to hook you up with what you're looking for!
We also have physical gift cards available in-store. Please message us with a time you'd like to come by and pick one up (we're open by appointment only).
ARE ESCAPE ROOMS GOOD FOR TEAM BUILDING?
Absolutely! Escape rooms are a super popular team building and bonding activity for all types of teams. Corporate teams, sports teams, scouts & troops, school groups, clubs... you get the idea!
WILL THERE BE STRANGERS WITH MY GROUP?
Nope! All of our games are PRIVATE EXPERIENCES, with no extra cost!
ARE ESCAPE ROOMS GOOD FOR BIRTHDAY PARTIES?
For sure, and we'd love to help celebrate your special day with you! We have a party room which fits up to 10 (8 comfortably) which can be added-on during your checkout process. Reserving the room gets you a private area for use of at least 30 minutes after your game (could be longer if we're not busy), and allows you to bring in your own food and beverages. We have a full-sized fridge we can use to store your goodies while you're playing, if needed. If you have any additional questions about booking parties with us, please call us or e-mail us here!
OK, I'M SOLD ON HOLDING MY EVENT HERE! WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW THE HEADCOUNT RIGHT AWAY?
Totally ok! Just purchase the room minimum tickets required (varies based on game/day/time... see booking page for the minimums) and you can pay the balance due upon arrival! Cash or card are accepted.
I SEE I NEED TO BOOK ONLINE AT LEAST 1 HOUR IN ADVANCE.
CAN I GET A REFUND IF MY PLANS CHANGED?
Once you book, your booking is final. There are NO REFUNDS in case of cancellation or no-show. Just like a concert or a play, if you are unable to attend you will not get a refund if your plans changed last minute. When you purchase tickets to an escape room game, we plan on staffing and being available to your group, and there is a cost associated with that. We are very firm on this policy as we are running a business, and we hope you understand our perspective. We do understand our customers' perspective, too, so your tickets ARE transferable and you can transfer your booking FREE OF CHARGE to anyone you'd like (friends, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, etc) right up until game time! Just provide the recipient with your confirmation email, and that's all we'd need to see (digital copy is fine).
For the more foreseen reschedules, we reschedule on a case-by-case basis where we have been notified at least 24 HOURS in advance via e-mail to email@example.com. Phone calls/voicemails/in-person visits/messages by carrier pigeon are NOT accepted for reschedule requests.
